The Blessington Vintage Car & Motorcycle Club ltd ( B.V.C.M.C ) was established in 1985 and is affiliated to the Irish Veteran and Vintage Car Club CLG ( I.V.V.C.C ) . In this policy “we”, “ us” or “ our” are references to the B.V.C.M.C. In this policy “you” refers to members of the B.V.C.M.C. Our registered address is Tara Court, Dublin Road, Naas, Co. Kildare. 3.1 Policy

The B.V.C.M.C is committed to meeting the requirements of the E.U. General Data Protection Regulations ( G.D.P.R.) which came into effect on the 25th may 2018.

We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting your personal information.

This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you or that you provide us will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our privacy policy and procedures regarding your personal data and how we treat it.

3.2 How do we collect information.

We obtain basic information about you when you enquire about or apply to join our club, renew membership, send or receive mailings, phone calls text messages or otherwise provide us with personal information e.g. On club Run entry forms, club event sign-in sheets and A.G.M attendance sheets.

3.3 What information do we collect.

The personal information we collect may include, name and postal address, email address and mobile phone number. It may include information about a vintage/classic vehicle eg. to allocate a space on our club stand at shows and events. It may include personal bank account information e.g for club membership subscription renewal payments.

By providing us with this information you are consenting to us processing it for the purposes for which it was given.

3.4 How do we use this information.

We use this information for the following purposes;

( A ) To administer your membership.

( B ) For general club administrative purposes, e.g. to handle your

enquiries or to provide you with information or forms you have

requested.

( C ) To provide you with information of our club events or other events

that we are supporting.

( D ) To enable you to interact with our club website.

( E ) To ensure statutory and regulatory compliance of the (G.D.P.R.)

3.5 Your Rights

You have rights to control your information and the manner in which we process it. This includes;

( A ) A right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.

This is known as a subject access request.

( B ) A right to request to have any inaccuracies in your information

corrected or updated.

( C ) A right to chose not to receive any communication from us.

3.6 How do we protect your information.

We take appropriate measures to safeguard personal information that is disclosed to us and keep it accurate and up to date. As of 25th May 2018 all personal information that is disclosed to us will be destroyed ( hard copy) and or deleted ( electronic ) 36 months following the date of your club membership expiration.

3.7 Will we disclose your personal information to third parties.

We will not sell your personal information to third parties. We will not give your personal information to third parties without your permission unless we are required to do so by law.

3.8 Your consent.

By providing us with your personal data including any sensitive personal data. You consent to the collection, recording and use of the information in accordance with the purposes described above and in this Privacy Policy.

You consent includes the Blessington Vintage Car & Motorcycle Club Ltd using your information to send you communications by electronic means including email, phone, text as well as post.

You will be required annually to give your written consent by signing the appropriate section of your club membership renewal form.

You have the right to withdraw your consent in writing at any time.

3.9 Changes to Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to changes the terms of this policy from time to time. Such changes will be communicated to you directly, and also updated on our public club website. By continuing to remain a member of our club you will be deemed to have accepted the changes made.
