Next Sunday morning we gather for our Spring Rally, starting from the ever splendid Russborough House on the N81 just south of Blessington. Our plan is to gather at 10am to meet, have a chat and maybe some refreshments in the tea rooms.
We plan to leave at 11am for a drive through Wicklow and Kildare for a lunch stop in Kildare Town where there are a number of options for lunch. The picnic option is to continue on to the afternoon stop at Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park where facilities are available. Full details are in the members mailshot distributed a few weeks back.
Hope we get dry weather and can see as many members and cars as possible on Sunday morning.
The 2017 season kicks off in earnest with the first evening run on Monday April 10th and we gather at 7.30pm in the usual location, the industrial estate opposite Avon Ri entrance.
Time to dust off the car and take it out for a short spin which is the norm for the first run of the season. We will move off at 7.45pm to make best use of the daylight available. Hope see as many out as possible and if your not a member already please join us this evening as new members are welcome.
With everyone getting back to routines after the Christmas and New Year celebrations please note that the regular monthly meetings restart on Monday January 16th at 8.30pm at the West Wicklow Inn, Blessington.
Thereafter we will revert to the normal second Monday of each month for the meetings and evening runs. Full calendar details will be posted in advance of AGM in March.
