We will have a stand at the show and welcome all club members to drop by and say hello. We are located beside the Richard Noble World Land Speed record stand in the middle of the hall. It’s stand E30 for anyone who has a map.
Hope to see you over the weekend.
Thanks to everyone who called to the stand and hope everyone had a good time. Many thanks to the exhibitors for their cars and Paul Clarke for the many photos that have been uploaded to the Gallery, it almost feels like being there again.
The annual Mince Pie Run took place on the 27th of December, starting in St Kevin’s Community Center, Dublin road Blessington.
The weather started out mixed in Blessington but as we drove into Kildare the monsoon type rains made driving difficult so the stop at Jim & Josie Ginty’s collection of cars and automobilia was well appreciated by everyone as its allowed us get out of the rain and explore the many treasures to find answers to the quiz set by Michael & Brian.
The finish at Toughers helped everyone catch up and warm up and despite the weather this events continues to have a special place in everyone’s diary of events around Christmas season.
Our Thanks to Jim & Josie for their hospitality.
In April the club traveled to Monaghan and Cavan and while we were there, we visited Eugene Markey’s collection of old Ford cars, old Irish road signs and old Irish glass bottles.
